KILLeveryone
"...standard-issue
dark electro elements with scattered shards of actual melody
and a punk rock edge that adds color and texture to the thudding
jackboot beats and oppressive wool blankets of synthesizer"
CD Review by Rick
Anderson - All Music Guide. Full review here.
"Hard as hell beats,
psychotic synths, cyber melodies, great samples and searing vocals
destined to get you sweating and stomping your boots on the dance
floor."

"This is a great
release. Its Cyberpunk which is basically electro-industrial
in todays terms...
... I believe this will be club staple (if not already) and is
very inspirational for the dunkeltanz elite...
... Overall, a wonderful release which I will be spinning for
some time. Danke!"

JUL 08
Another
month, another new synth. BRAINkILLERv2mini is one of the best yet,
featuring a new and flexible Unison Oscillator from Chris Kerry.
This synth is so special it is available with two different GUIs.
There is also a new Multi-Tap Delay effect available. Find them
both in the FREESOURCES area.
We're trying
for a July 31st deadline to complete the album but we still have
some work to do to achieve it. Meanwhile, we have shuffled the
pack on our MySpace
page
to include some of the remix contest runners-up.
JUN 08
The winner
of the DEMONIZER Remix Contest is Inside Agitator. It was a stand-our amongst some very
good entries. Picking other remixes for the album was much harder
but we have come up with two more - Epilogue's Deliberate
Fury Mix and Vicious Angel's Broken Bones Mix.
Thanks to everyone who participated, most of the 40 or so entries
were easily good enough to make it to the album.
A new synth
and a whole new look for the XE Range. COLDkILLERmini features a new kind
of synthesis for the killer synths, with an additive oscillator.
There is also an update to ANGSTkILLERmini, with new functionality and a new-look
interface. Check it all out in the FREESOURCES area.
MAY 08
An update
for the new NOVAkILLER synth. Version 1.5 has
some useful enhancements and a bug-fix or two, as well as a few
tweaks to the UI. it is joined by COLDkILLERmini, an additive synth built on the XE Platform.
The remix
contest is going well, with half-a-dozen entries already
submitted. The cut-off date is 8th June so keep 'em coming!
As you can
see, the site has been twekaed a little. We thought it was time
to stop catering to VGA resolution monitors and join the widescreen
age.
Another month,
another new instrument. NOVAkILLER has been created to celebrate the new
SURFACE skin, which you can
check out on the SkINZ
page,
and uses a similar graphical theme. It does FM and Hard
Sync so its the perfect instrument to wear the band's name.
Find it all on the FREESOURCES pages.
APR 08
NOVAkILL
is excited to announce a remix contest for DEMONIZER,
the first completed song for the next album, I HATE GOD. Synapse
Audio,
makers of ORION, are kindly putting
up thier Synth
Pack PRO
as a prize [valued at $99, PC/Mac compatible]. In addition, the
best remixes received will be released as bonus tracks on I HATE GOD. For full details, go
to our special REMIX
CONTEST
page.
MAR 08
There
is a minor update to the kill-o-rama effect that includes new functionality.
Manuals for all new instruments will now be included in the download
as PDF files. PRIDEkILLER's release has been unavoidably
put on hold indefinitely but you can download ANGSTkILLERmini on the FREESOURCES page, the first of our
next-gen synths. Unfortunately, the server running out of space
so we have had to remove some older instruments.
Recording
of vocals has started for the new album. You can check out a
snippet of one new song, DEMONIZER, on MySpace. A couple of other songs
have also been rotated in so there is plenty to listen to. |
